At Petarn, we aim to provide a secure, convenient, and reliable checkout experience for our customers.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Petarn accepts the payment methods available at checkout.

Depending on availability, accepted card types may include:

  • JCB

  • UnionPay

  • Visa Electron

  • Maestro

The payment methods displayed at checkout are the payment methods currently available for your order.

2. Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through third-party payment processing services used with our Shopify store.

When you place an order, your payment information is submitted through the payment processing system available at checkout.

Petarn does not intentionally store your complete credit or debit card number on our own systems.

3. Payment Authorization

When you place an order, your payment method may be subject to authorization and verification by the payment processor and your card issuer.

An order may not be successfully completed if:

  • The payment is declined

  • The payment cannot be authorized

  • The payment information is incorrect

  • Additional verification is required

  • The transaction is flagged for security review

If payment cannot be successfully processed, the order may not be fulfilled until payment is completed.

4. Currency

All prices displayed on the Petarn website are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

If your payment method uses a different currency, your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion fees or other charges.

Petarn does not control fees charged by your bank, card issuer, or financial institution.

5. Payment Security

We use Shopify and third-party payment processing services to help process payments securely.

However, no online payment or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customers should only provide payment information through the official Petarn checkout process.

6. Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

For security purposes, Petarn and our payment processing partners may review transactions to help detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Additional verification may be required in certain circumstances before an order can be processed.

Petarn reserves the right to cancel or decline an order when payment cannot be properly verified or when a transaction appears to involve unauthorized or fraudulent activity, subject to applicable law.

7. Order Confirmation

After successfully placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation containing your order details.

If an order cannot be fulfilled because of a payment issue, product availability issue, pricing error, or suspected fraudulent activity, Petarn may cancel the order.

If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, an applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.

8. Refunds

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

9. Changes to Payment Methods

Petarn may add, remove, or change available payment methods in the future.
